Labatt Wildcat Lager

Labatt Wildcat Lager (4.9%): an adjunct lager from Canada. Wildcat Lager is a budget/cheap brew from Canadian giant Labatt. I bought a 40oz at the local supermarket (for some reason I was really attracted to the bottle).

  • Pours a very pale piss-like golden liquid.
  • Smells somewhat like metal. Does that make sense?
  • Sweet flavor, reminds me of vitamin C tablets.
  • You definitely feel the adjuncts in the aftertaste (rice).
  • Weak buzz.
  • The bottle/label is really nice. Props to the graphic designers who created a wicked creature.

Verdict: It won't kill you but definitely not enjoyable. I mean .... who really wants to drink a beer that tastes like vitamins?
